are we? -- Percussion section
The purkushinist, Roger Larsen, is one of the new players with RTOOT. He had mid life crisis at on his double-nickel by purchasing a drum set (much cheaper than a new Porsche). He started a praise band at his church to help provide upbeat Christian music for the youth. Though his wife suffers every night with him practicing his crash, plunk, bang and boom, she supports him in his vision of visiting Carnegie Hall some day (through the front door). As Roger is the only purkushinist, My Strow Hobgood gave him a special place, way in the back, behind the brass.
